ABOUT
ME

I'm an internationally recognised film composer, music artist and performer. I started off in classical music, and over the years I have learnt to play 12 musical instruments. My instruments have taken me over to the United States, playing in an orchestra in Seattle, on a scholarship through the Pacific Honours Ensemble Program. I have also performed with highly renowned Trumpet players such as Reinhold Friedrich, Vincent DiMartino and John Foster, through the Australasian Trumpet Academy in 2018 and 2019. In addition to this, I also have interned with James Morrison alongside 16 other auditioned musicians, and performed with him + his James Morrison Academy Big Band in his Jazz Jam Concert in 2017. One of my favourite performances was with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in the 2018 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. In 2018, 2019 & 2020, I also participated in the Australian Honours Ensemble Wind Orchestra. Currently, I am studying in Sydney Australia at the University of Sydney's Conservatorium of Music.

As I am majoring in Composition for Creative Industries at the Sydney's Conservatorium , I hope to make a living from writing music to films and video games. A recent short film I have written the score for took out the "Best Soundtrack Category," in the New York International Film Awards, and has been nominated in the Golden Short Film Festival. As well as this, an Independent film I co-wrote the score for, "At Maria's," won 12 Laurels in 2019. In 2018, I was awarded the winner for Best Composer in the "Female Film Makers Fuse "contest. My journey with film composing started when I entered the Queensland Music Festival's "Score It" competition, and was fortunate enough to take out first place amongst hundreds of competitors. Following that, I realised that I thoroughly enjoyed composing for screen, as I love how you can enhance a story & emotion to what's already being shown on screen. I then continued on to enter the Score It competition each year (2017, 2018, 2019) and I proudly won my category each year. As a prize, I got to learn and have masterclasses with Hollywood Composer Cameron Patrick, who has composed and orchestrated music for films such as Spiderman: Homecoming, Zootopia and Jurassic World. In 2018, I had a blast composing for the Federation Bells in Melbourne, Australia, and was also writing Big Band Arrangements for the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra's Big Band. In 2019, over in Seattle I had the privilege to learn from Robert W. Smith, a film, television & education composer who has arranged for John Williams & works for Universal. Aspiring to be a screen composer, I hope to move over to the U.S after finishing my Bachelors in Australia, to study a Masters in Film & Videogame Composition.

Not only do I write instrumental music, but I have always also enjoyed writing my own contemporary songs with lyrics. However, I have only begun releasing my music to streaming platforms in 2021! My music has reached countries such as the United States, Canada, U.K, Germany, Japan and more! In 2017, I was 1 in 4 winners of the Australian National Songwriting competition, and was flown to Melbourne to work with John Foreman and Australian artist Taylor Henderson. We collaborated and wrote the song for that year's "Music Count us In" initiative. Sung by over 600,000 school kids, our song contributed to promoting the importance of music education within schools in Australia. I am super keen to release more of my music works in the future so make sure to stay tuned :)
